IT@Spectrum, led by Ken Sturdy and based in Hull, East Yorkshire, is one of the most forward thinking and successful print channel partners in the UK.
They are a Canon partner and have been awarded the highest possible Platinum status under Canon’s pan-European quality accreditation scheme for Managed Print Services, Advanced Office Imaging, Advanced Office Solutions, and Information Management. They are also ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and a Silver Level member of the Investors in People programme.
Having already established a successful Information Management, Document Workflow and Analytics software practice within IT@Spectrum, in 2014, Ken showed great foresight in investing in The One Point, an IT Managed Services business based in the same region. Then in 2017 IT@Spectrum and The One Point relocated together to new state-of-the-art premises close to the Humber Bridge, and are working increasingly closely together to offer an integrated Managed IT Service and Managed Print Service to customers.
The One Point’s business is going from strength to strength, with a stellar annual revenue growth rate over the last 5 years of 45%. This has helped IT@Spectrum counter the pressure from declining print volumes, by expanding its customer base and adding new revenue streams based on IT-related solutions.
In 2019 IT@Spectrum acquired another Canon partner in York and a Konica Minolta dealership in Newcastle, broadening its grip on the North East region of the UK, and expanding its customer base for the cross selling of its broader managed services portfolio.
